1. UI Interaction Improvements
Fixed an issue where field objects could be unintentionally affected when using the mouse over UI elements.
2. Visibility Improvements
The background color has been changed from black to dark gray to help distinguish the game map from the background more clearly.
3. Settings Menu
Added a settings button to both the main menu and the in-game menu. You can now adjust sound settings and change the language during gameplay!
4. Construction System Implemented
A system has been added that allows players to place objects on the field. When selecting a buildable item from the inventory, the game enters construction mode, allowing placement of the object on the field. A green outline indicates the object can be placed, while a red outline indicates it cannot. Pressing the ESC key while in construction mode will cancel it and return to interaction mode.
The following construction items have been added: Campfire, Wall, Altar of Fire, Altar of Lightning.
Campfire Description: Illuminates the area around it for a limited time. Interacting with it consumes 1 wood to extend its duration. Craftable: Yes Materials: 20 Wood, 10 Stone
Wall Description: A durable obstacle. Interacting with it consumes 1 stone to increase its durability. Craftable: Yes Materials: 50 Stone
Altar of Fire Description: An altar that launches flames at nearby enemies. Interacting with it consumes wood to increase its durability. At certain durability levels, its damage, firing speed, and projectile speed increase. Craftable: Yes Materials: Viewable in-game
Altar of Lightning Description: An altar that attacks nearby enemies with lightning. Interacting with it consumes wood to increase its durability. At certain durability levels, its damage, firing speed, and casting speed increase. Craftable: Yes Materials: Viewable in-game
5. Terrain Generation Improvements
Previously, water tiles were placed randomly to create terrain. Now, terrain elevation is generated using Perlin noise, and land and sea are determined based on the elevation, resulting in more natural terrain.
6. Field Object Spawn Logic Added
In addition to spawning objects based on day/night cycles and time segments, a new system has been added to always generate resource objects in the field. Now the field will always contain a sufficient number of resource objects.
7. UI Hidden After Stage Ends
Fixed an issue where the inventory and item info windows remained open after a stage ended.
8. Sound Settings Saved
Your sound settings are now saved and will be automatically loaded the next time you launch the game.
