addedWhy no update yet?Progress has been slower than I’d like because our team is just one full-time developer (me) and one programmer , and the project is completely unfunded. After the last update, I realized many systems needed to be rebuilt so the game could scale up properly and become more robust. We also decided to add a major new feature, which turned out to be a much bigger undertaking than I’d initially anticipated.

I recently upgraded my PC and picked up new audio/video equipment and software so I can stream myself playing the game, giving you all a closer look at development in action.

Hi everyone, @iENDERi here – creator of Adventure Craft.

I recently returned to the discussion pages for Adventure Craft after being away for a while, and I’ve seen some negative comments about the lack of communication here on Steam — including suggestions that the game might be abandoned or “dead.” I want to take full responsibility for that. I should have been posting regular updates here on Steam to show how development was progressing. I understand the negative effect my silence has had on the community, and I sincerely apologize. I’m still learning, and this is something I’m determined to improve.

Is the game abandoned?

Absolutely not. Adventure Craft has been in full-time development since the last update. I’ve been dedicating 100% of my time to development work — but out of habit, I’ve been posting updates on X instead of here. In hindsight, that was a mistake, because Steam is where our core audience is. I love this project too much to abandon it, and I’m committed to seeing it through to the end.

Why no update yet?

Progress has been slower than I’d like because our team is just one full-time developer (me) and one programmer, and the project is completely unfunded. After the last update, I realized many systems needed to be rebuilt so the game could scale up properly and become more robust. We also decided to add a major new feature, which turned out to be a much bigger undertaking than I’d initially anticipated.

The current state of Adventure Craft

The good news is: the current build is playable again. I can now start sharing more game play directly. I recently upgraded my PC and picked up new audio/video equipment and software so I can stream myself playing the game, giving you all a closer look at development in action.

Here’s a recent video of me playing the game, along with some other debugging clips.

From now on, I’ll be posting updates here on Steam more regularly — so if you’ve been wondering where the game stands, you won’t have to look anywhere else.

Thanks for sticking with me,

@iENDERi

Thank you so much for supporting the game all this time – it means more than you know.
