FIXED!
We have pushed a patch to the game that now saves videos to "C:/ProgramData/ActingOutGame", which bypasses issues with non-ASCII or Cyrillic character usernames breaking the video exporter.
If you were having this issue before, please update the demo and try again.
Sorry for the inconvenience for the initial issue, but thank you for your patience and supporting the game!
A massive thank you to user MeQva for helping us find the issue! Cheers, -Winston and Jeff

ORIGNAL POST
We've had a few users reporting an issue where they black screen in the cinema, and leaving JPEG files and .wav in the output folder. We are still getting to the bottom of the issue, but we also need your help in identifying the cause. We have a temporary workaround fix and are working on patching the game.
Theory
The video exporting program may be failing when a user has Cyrillic or non-ASCII characters in their Windows username. It is trying to find the saved images and audio files to merge, but the video recording plugin was not written to handle non-ASCII characters.
The files are located at: C:\\Users[USERNAME]\\AppData\\Local\\InteractSandbox\\Saved\\VideoCaptures\\output so if your USERNAME contains non-ASCII characters, this may be the cause of the problem.
We are investigating a fix.
Temporary Workaround
Until we patch the game, you can work around this by creating a new user account in Windows with ASCII characters only (standard English alphabet) and playing the game on that account.
