The latest update for Acceptable Losses is now live! This patch focuses on improving the game’s atmosphere and presentation:

  • Overhauled table visuals

  • Added 2 random props (more to come) that appear at night

  • Map (not interactable, yet)

  • Removed date from screen and printed it onto the missions envelope

Added features

  • Ability to rest inactive soldiers by sending them to the medical tent

  • Camera slightly follows cursor with ability to turn it off

Bugs and Fixes

  • Fixed timing of mission event cards and consequences of missions without event cards

  • BUG: inactive soldiers sometimes shown as active

  • BUG: events that wounded or killed soldiers when no medical report is in the inbox would reset the event card

  • BUG: some settings not saved

The goal was to make the world of Acceptable Losses feel more lived-in. Small details that capture fatigue, routine, and the weight of the campaign.

The new medical tent feature lets you manage your soldiers in another way, adding depth to your command decisions.

Check out the new look, and share your feedback! Your thoughts help shape the rest of development.
