- Gameplay
Today is finally the day.
After years of development, worldbuilding, testing, rewriting, balancing, cutting, adding, doubting, improving, and diving deeper than we probably should have, A Tale of Silent Depths is now available on Steam.
You can now step aboard your Ark, explore the silent ocean, fight pirates, beasts, rival Arks, and stranger things beneath the waves, gather resources, craft your fleet of drones, and forge your own story in a drowned world that does not care whether you survive.
For me, Eduardo, this project has been a very personal journey. A Tale of Silent Depths is a game about exploration, survival, faith, ruins, pressure, and the strange feeling that the ocean is always hiding something from you. It is also a game about making your own path. You can be a trader, an explorer, a scavenger, a pirate, or something in between.
Most of all, it is a game about stories.
The stories we wrote into the world.
The stories hidden in the ruins.
And the stories you will create when everything goes wrong and you somehow still make it back alive.
I want to thank everyone who played the demo, sent feedback, wishlisted the game, joined our community, talked to us during events, or simply followed the project from a distance. Every bit of support helped us keep going.
Now the game is yours.
Dive deep, captains.
The Depths are waiting.
Survive well.
Cheers! -Eduardo
