We are now officially releasing the first update to the mine galleries, featuring improvements, bug fixes, and new mechanics.

Patch Note 1.1.a1

Mechanics:

  • Added a new mechanic allowing players to challenge other players’ bluffs. Some of you enjoyed bluffing at every opportunity, but this could create major imbalances. You can now challenge a bid during auctions to verify whether a player is bluffing. If your challenge is correct, your opponent must fold. Otherwise, if they had enough money to cover the bid, you must fold instead.

  • Reworked the bribe item: it now affects any visible merchant, regardless of their social class (owner stock, unionized, or phase 1).

Quality of Life:

  • Improved payslip: you can now see in detail who you are paying taxes to, which items you bought, and who stole your money.

  • Improved historybetter readability, with added tracking of dice rerolls, item usage, and money theft.
  • Improved lobby creation: a lobby name is now automatically suggested based on your username.

  • Added a version checker: no more risk of starting a game without being up to date. A pop-up will notify you whether you are on the same version as the host when joining a lobby.

  • Added new tooltips in both lobby and gameplay.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where a bot could get stuck in the first tutorial, causing the tutorial to completely freeze.

  • Fixed color selection in the lobby: a warning now appears when selecting the same color as another player.

  • Fixed the “heavy animations” option not properly disabling in the tutorial.

  • Fixed minimap tooltips not displaying correctly.

  • Fixed an issue where skins could fail to display in the tutorial.

  • Attempted fix for a server crash issue requiring players to restart the game. We are still investigating.

  • Attempted fix for an infinite loading issue when starting a game from a lobby. Players will now be returned to the menu if game creation fails. Investigation is ongoing.

Thank you again to everyone who purchased the game and shared feedback. Thanks to you, À la Mine keeps improving every day.
