This year, Menthorin is back with a lovely gift just for you! He arrives with a brand-new update for the À la Mine demo—and plenty of announcements to share. 🧨

So, let’s start from the beginning:

The À la Mine demo is finished!

It now includes:

  • New voice acting for the tutorial

  • New interactions and animations

  • An automatic save system to recover crashed games or resume a session you didn’t finish

  • Game customization options (with or without gem families, items, Phase 2, or events)

  • Accessibility options for colorblind players

  • Various fixes and optimizations to improve the overall experience

  • Quality-of-life and game feel improvements

This new demo version is the last major update. We’ll continue polishing it and fixing bugs when needed, but our focus has now shifted toward releasing the full game as soon as possible.

When will the game be released?

We can’t give you an exact date just yet, but we’re aiming for an early 2026 release —so it’s coming sooner than you might think! We’ll be back very soon with a proper date announcement, we promise.

What will the price be?

We plan to price À la Mine at around $13 USD (price may vary depending on your region). This is an indicative price and may change before release.

Why this price?

À la Mine is a premium game, but we want to sell it with a “board game mindset.” Just like with a physical board game, only one person in your friend group needs to own the game for everyone to enjoy it together.

That’s why À la Mine will feature a Friend Pass, allowing your friends to play with you for free. With the Friend Pass, players won’t be able to create their own games or unlock meta-progression—those features are reserved for the full version. However, they’ll be able to play the tutorial and join their friends’ games as many times as they want!

What will happen to the demo once the game is released?

The demo won’t really make sense once À la Mine is out. Instead, players will be able to discover the game through the Friend Pass, join their friends’ games, or jump straight into the tutorial.

And after that?

Whoa there, my friend, let’s first make sure À la Mine is the best game it can possibly be before talking about what comes next. That said, let’s be honest: it will depend on how well the game is received.

We have plenty of ideas, both for À la Mine and for future projects. So if you’re curious about what’s coming next, make sure to add À la Mine to your wishlist and spread the word!

That’s all for now! Menthorin and the entire Studio des Kréatifs team wish you wonderful holidays and will see you very soon for the next chapter of the adventure! 🎄✨
