Hello again! As outlined in my previous post, A House of Many Doors is finally being updated with much-needed bugfixes and quality-of-life improvements, thanks to the hard work of super-fan Altotas.

changedHello again! As outlined in my previous post , A House of Many Doors is finally being updated with much-needed bugfixes and quality-of-life improvements, thanks to the hard work of super-fan Altotas.
changedPlease note that this update is massive and, as such, it will break existing saves . If you have an ongoing playthrough you want to preserve, you can switch back to the old version of the game very easily through Steam. Simply right click on the game in your library -> "Properties" -> "Betas" -> select the "compatibility" branch.

addedOPTIMISATIONProper deactivation of interactable scenery objects -Texture cache flushing added -An option to toggle additional Linux support in the main menu (disables some shaders that tend to crash the game for Linux users)
fixedUISlightly bigger line breaks for text -Got rid of the practically unreadable small font used in a few places -Increased transparency of the Notes (was obscuring the left corner of the screen too much) -More icons for cargo items and various other occasions -Current date display is lowered slightly and now also shows the region name -Adjusted UI of the Cargo tab -An attempt at fixing the scrollbar sometimes falling out of the dialogue box -Logbook sub-tabs now properly close when you click open the next one (just like the cargo tab already worked) -Current Crew tab now also shows stats -Relationships tab was divided into three separate tabs to avoid clutter and visual glitches: Relationships, Reputation and Scrutiny -Added new Logbook tab for finished concerns -Rearranged Miscellaneous Event Options so the quest-related ones are always on top. Also, reduced the number of tabs by separating them into categories -Added "Review the clues about the City of Glass" to the Miscellaneous Event Options -An option to drink Soporific Draught when you are Sleepless -While staying at various locations of the House, Miscellaneous Event Options are available under the separate tab called "Inside the kinetopede" to reduce cluttering -Fixed Sanity bar getting stuck (prevents it from going over 100 or under 0) -Player name turns red when one wound away from death -Fixed missing speech bubbles for certain crew members (UI element that shows you can start or progress their concerns) -"Continue" button now always correctly loads the latest save

If you have an ongoing playthrough you want to preserve, you can switch back to the old version of the game very easily through Steam. Simply right click on the game in your library -> "Properties" -> "Betas" -> select the "compatibility" branch.
