addedAs most of you may already know, there's an unofficial patch for House of Many Doors, created by an incredibly talented and hard-working fan named Altotas. The patch fixes a huge number of bugs and adds some new content to the game.
addedWell, Altotas contacted me behind-the-scenes recently. He has very kindly offered to let me add his bugfixes to the Steam game. (The added content will remain exclusive to the fan patch, though I encourage you to download and try it out!)
fixedWhat does this mean? Well, on the 21st November - to coincide with the Autumn Sale - I'll be updating the game for the first time in, oh God, 6ish years. A bunch of annoying bugs will finally be fixed, and some quality-of-life improvements will be added as well. Happy exploring!
changedHowever, one thing to note is that this update will break your existing saves. But fear not - if you're currently playing through the game, you can use Steam to opt in to the "compatibility" branch, which contains the old unpatched version of the game.
