changed"Banned in Germany" sounds cooler than "Now censored for the German Govts Approval" also.
addedThe German market is about 2% of the total Steam market though, so it's a considerable audience to lose out on. Having to create a seperate patch JUST for Germany, every single time is pretty annoying. And this whole issue is making me want to add a ton of swastikas all over the place, swastika NPCs, pulsating swastika textures, swastika statues, you name it, we are gonna swastika it.
addedSo thats where launch is at. Either I will figure out these steps in the next 24 hours, or Germany will simply be removed from all sales and their Government can go fuck themselves. Forbidden Art. Really. What next? A Degenerate Art Show? Stop busting my balls. The game is ready to go, and the sooner it launched the sooner I can get to work on new content for it; and finding out how everyone has managed to break it, so then I can go through the existential blow out of trouble shooting, etc. Jeazhus. I haven't eaten breakfast yet, maybe I should do that before posting anything.
changedThere that's my big rant about why A Fool's Art Gallery is still sitting in pre-release and listed as "Coming Soon"; instead of being avaliable for purchase and download.
changedUPDATE: I had the files for the International Version and German Version in two seperate folders, but the core file names were the same, so when they were uploaded to Steam they merged into one unholy alliance.

Launch continues to be stalled by the hyper sensitive German Government who treats their people like babies.
With the complexities and amount of work they have hoisted onto me for no reason other than 8 lines arranged in a spiral make them unable to bear the weight of reality, if I cannot figure out the final steps they have caused, then I will simply not release in Germany; it's all becoming too much of a headache. Making the actual game was easier than dealing with what these beaurocratic cowards have caused.

It's eight lines. Get over it. It predates your offended little cult of cowardly babies. Anyone who is offended by swastikas needs to grow up.

German version is on still, but censored of all it's cultural geometry from the last 40,000+ years of local and global history.
International version will have a secret area with the censored German art, so everyone can laugh at their sillly government and it's silly rules.
I will be making a complete mockery of their censorship system.
