The release of “Kuindzhi, 93” has taken place — an atmospheric first-person miniature about 18-year-old Artyom from Donbas, who finds himself in Mariupol in March 2022. After a call from his father, the protagonist drops out of school and sets off as a volunteer, trying to understand his place in a world collapsing before his eyes.

The game focuses not on the external conflict, but on a person’s inner experience: memory, fear, loneliness, doubt, and moral choice. Artyom does not take up a weapon, which earns him the callsign “Pacifist.”

Special attention is given to sound and visual presentation: radio chatter, footsteps, distant explosions, anxious silence, as well as realistic and atmospheric graphics help assemble the game’s space into a complete, living scene.

The main character is voiced by rap artist Husky. The story also features Dima OM., Evgeny Chebatkov, Denis Stelmakh, Smyslovye Gallyutsinatsii, Pomni Imya Svoe.
