Today marks one year since Loony Code was founded. Since then, we've released a game with a few updates, and made a ton of progress on our huge ongoing project too. There's a few things we wanted to talk about to commemorate the occasion, so let's get into it!

First things first - it's sale time! Steam was nice enough to coincide the start of the sales with our anniversary, so tell your friends to take advantage and pick up their copy at 25% off!

An upcoming update

It's been a while since the last update for 86 was released, mainly because we've been focused on our other projects. But we're now beginning work on another major update, which we plan to release on September 3rd - the 1 year anniversary of 86 itself.

We'll reveal more about it in the coming weeks, but the centrepiece will be a new feature that helps you keep track of what puzzles you've solved, and advice on what to do next.

We have a blog!

Finally, we've also started a blog, which you can find at loonycode.wordpress.com ! The main purpose of this is to post updates on what we're working on, without filling cluttering your Steam page with loads of updates that don't directly have anything to do with 86. We're planning to do those updates in the first week of each month, so check it out regularly to see what we're up to!

But that's not all - there's other topics we want to talk about as well. These will relate to various topics related to what we do, mostly game design, animation and coding. These will be on a less-regular schedule than our monthly updates, but we've got a bunch of ideas already, so we'll get those out steadily over the coming months.

That's it from us - we'll be back in touch in the coming weeks with more info on the update. In the meantime, check out our blog if you want to see what else we're up to, or leave a comment to let us know what you want to see in 86 version 1.2!
