🎭 The Five Inner Voices now actually "remember" your choices

Killing Intent, Compassion, Pride, Dao Heart, Cunning — these five voices used to only interject in the moment. After this update:

• Major choices now echo back later in the story

• Before the final battle, your personal choices are recalled

• Inner voices drive the Heavenly Storyteller's pacing — your inclinations shape event density

• In short: that opponent you spared with Compassion, that NPC you cut down in Killing Intent — they all return, in some form, before the final chapter.

  

📜 Main story emotional motifs + key beat rewrites

The 18-chapter main story has been re-examined, with emotional motifs seeded and key beats deepened:

• Jade bloodline reveal hits harder

• Lin Yifeng trust arc rewritten — his debt is now unavoidable

• Blacktide Gang storyline now flows in three full acts: port bandits → black market → father's trail

  

🏯 Five-faction personal story arcs now live

Beyond joining, training, and graduating — each of the five factions now has a dedicated personal story arc:

• Qingyun Sect / Langji Sect character quests

• Tieshi Gang / Yaowang Valley / Xuanwu Alliance prose polish

• Beian-perspective faction quests

• Faction-bound recruitable companions

• Chen Estate "Ghost Bride" quest line — entirely new Steam post image

• October 2026: Steam Next Fest demo

• November 10, 2026: Early Access launch
