[Title] An Apology to Mac Players — Launch Issue Explained and Fixed

Hi everyone,

——【Mac Launch Issue (Now Fixed)】——

When the macOS version went live on the evening of May 23, we missed a configuration step in our Steam backend setup. As a result, Mac players who downloaded the game through Steam couldn't launch it (error: "missing game executable"). This issue persisted from the night of May 23 through the morning of May 24 — during that window, every Mac player who purchased the game was unable to play. This was our oversight, and we sincerely apologize.

The issue has been fixed as of this morning. If you were affected, please:

1. Fully quit Steam (top menu Steam → Quit Steam, not just close the window)

2. Reopen Steam

3. In your library, right-click "OBSESSED: The Vanishing Witnesses" → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files

4. Steam will download the missing content (~834 MB), after which the game will launch normally

——【Also: v3 Hotfix (Pushed This Morning)】——

We also pushed a small bug-fix patch this morning, addressing three issues from community feedback:

• Mouse cursor occasionally vanishing in certain scenes

• Scrollbar on long evidence cards (e.g., "Lin Xiaoyu's recommendation letter") closing the card unexpectedly

• Inaccurate wording on the "unsaved changes" quit confirmation dialog

Bug fixes only — no new content. Windows players should have received the update automatically.
