Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where a player disconnecting during the voting part could prevent the vote results from being displayed, leaving all players stuck. If someone disconnected while the game was waiting for everyone to finish voting, the tally never ran even once all remaining players' answers were in, leaving everyone waiting indefinitely. Additionally, if the player who created the room (the host) disconnected, the vote management itself stopped working. This update adds a safeguard that detects disconnections and automatically re-runs the tally, and each player's answers are now automatically resubmitted when the host changes.
Fixed an issue where the scores in the post-ending truth reveal scene could be displayed as 0 after resuming an interrupted session. When resuming after restarting the game, the score board could be rendered before the score data was restored. The score board now updates in sync with the scene's presentation, so the correct scores are displayed after resuming as well.
Fixed an issue where some objects — such as the discussion table's sharing slots and the seats in the post-game debrief — could stop working if the player who created the room (the host) disconnected.
Recap of Recent Updates (July 10–13)
Since patch notes other than the latest one are easy to miss, here is a summary of the important fixes from the past few days.
- July 10Fixed an issue where, in unstable network environments, a failed reconnection during a scene transition could leave all players stuck waiting.
July 10: You can now select the server region when creating a room (Japan / Asia / South Korea / North America / Europe / Hong Kong).
- July 11Fixed an issue where players selecting different facilitators could cause progression to desync, preventing the game from proceeding properly.
- July 11To address connection errors caused by reaching the concurrent player cap, we upgraded our server plan and raised the cap to 500 concurrent players.
July 12: Identified the root cause of an issue where other players' voices could become inaudible in certain situations, and implemented a fundamental fix.
- July 13Fixed an issue where the game could freeze right before the second discussion began, and could not be recovered even by reconnecting.
- July 13Added missing Simplified Chinese translations for text that previously displayed as "□□□".
- July 13Fixed an issue where the remaining investigation count might not carry over correctly after resuming an interrupted session (reconnecting).
Thank you for your continued support of The Ashen You!
