3/20 Patch Notes (New Zookeeper Select!)

Zookeeper Select Visual Update We’ve updated zookeeper select visually to focus on one zookeeper at a time. This will make zookeeper textboxes more readable and should also generally look nicer.

You can now preview each keepers starting deck before entering a new run. In the future we plan to add unique lanyards per keeper for some extra visual flair.

Zookeeper Select Visual Update

We’ve updated zookeeper select visually to focus on one zookeeper at a time. This will make zookeeper textboxes more readable and should also generally look nicer. You can now preview each keepers starting deck before entering a new run. In the future we plan to add unique lanyards per keeper for some extra visual flair.

New Stuff!

  • Berries (Give an animal of color x +10 permanently)

  • Appetizer (create an extra starting space)

  • Imp (Mythic animal that gains points of animals smaller than it)

Misc. Changes

  • We’ve temporarily removed Masquerade Ball. We like the idea of this event, but need to find a tweak we’re happy with to make it play well.

  • Overtime (AKA endless mode) should now finish at day 56.

  • We’ve added back filters to deck view in addition to the newer sorts.

  • Daily challenges now won’t count for either leaderboard if they go past midnight.

  • Animals can only be bounced once per day to prevent infinite loops.

  • Caterpillar now requires 15 points.

  • High score challenge goal should now be infinity.

  • Pteradactyl should now copy Lion (and similar effects) to care about land neighbors instead of sky.

  • Pteradactyl no longer retains abilities after being bounced

  • Max 5 unlocks will be shown after a run.

Bug Fixes

  • Deck view no longer shows copies of animals during pick 3 and gift shop.

  • Time Capsule no longer doubles negative points (Pancakes bugs)

  • Vogelkop now works when you transform into it.

  • Gems now show numbers correctly.

  • Fractional/decimal points should no longer show up anywhere in game.

  • The default zookeeper no longer shows up when loading first level.

  • Souvenirs should no longer visually trigger when they aren’t doing anything.

  • Soda’s should no longer be able to transform into the same animal you just used a Soda on

  • On Special Event days, animals can no longer bounce into blocked off zones and special tile can no longer randomly be placed in those zones

  • Victory Music should now correctly play win or lose in Overtime

  • On Special Event days, Swift should no longer override starting spaces

  • Quitting out during a daily challenge should no longer "desync" your save in such a way that you can count a previous day's daily as today's
