Hello Zombies and Survivors
Here is our first round of patch notes since releasing into early access! We appreciate all the feedback we have received since launch and want to encourage our growing community to keep it coming! That's what early access is all about, you sharing your thoughts and suggestions with us so we can make the best possible game come 1.0 ~ Speaking of suggestions, feel free to join the Wandering Wizard Discord or post to Steam forums with your feedback.
We have made these patches and hotfixes incrementally since early access launch, so if you do not see these changes to your game, please check if there is an update queued.
Patch Notes
Gameplay
Fixed issue where a lobby could have 2 Engineers in a 2v1 queue
Fixed an issue where the AI could get caught on a light post in the map
Added an indicator of the number of shots needed in the Engineer tutorial when they shoot the Imposter
Added indicative arrows to the Imposter tutorial
UI
The “Manual” button in the main menu no longer permanently glows
The tutorial now informs the player of the first role they are learning about
Fixed an issue where the player could get stuck in a loop while attempting to join the Discord
Fixed an issue where “Custom Mode” would overrun the textbox in German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese
New VFX now appears on the minimap when a trap explodes, a scan discovers an imposter, or when an imposter kills an innocent
The in-game Shop now has prices listed for each item
Players should no longer get stuck in a loop if they press H and then J and refuse to join the Discord
Functionality
The game now correctly enters “Full Screen’ when selecting “Revert to default settings”
Fixed issues where “Play” button would not work sometimes
Fixed issues where skins would not equip
Fixed an issue where some Steam achievements were not working
Fixed an issue where an Imposter could win if an innocent died after the Imposter was killed
Text
Fixed text overlapping the tutorial video occurring under the “Saving Innocents” section of the manual in French, German & Portuguese.
Fixed “Manual” text overlapping the “Settings” text when game language is set to Japanese
Fixed “Tutorial” and “Custom Mode” buttons having their text go outside the box when highlighted in Japanese
Made several grammar and punctuation edits to text in the Manual
Added parentheses to “Break” and “Fix” prompts for clarity
Fixed tutorial text not displaying properly in Turkish
Audio
Generator breaking and fixed sounds can no longer be heard when audio sliders are set to 0
Ambient radio broadcast audio can no longer be heard when all audio is set to 0
Fixed issues with zombie SFX not playing when transforming
