addedA new Prototype Weapon is entering the fight: the ZPU-1 EF, a Light Cannon built around fire, frost, and overheat payoff.
addedThe ZPU-1 EF gives Airmen a new dual-element weapon to chase, master, and bring into battle. Each shot can trigger a fire explosion, a frost explosion, or both at once, giving this Light Cannon strong battlefield control and serious damage potential against the horde.
changedFire explosions deal damage over a short duration, while frost explosions damage enemies and freeze them over the same duration. When both trigger together, the result is exactly what the undead deserve: a very bad day with no clear weather forecast.
addedThe weapon also builds residual heat. Every 3rd shot adds 10% residual heat, and that heat does not cool down passively. Keep firing, keep building pressure, and once the weapon overheats, the final bullet creates an Ember-Frost area.
changedThis Ember-Frost area stays active for a few seconds and deals heavy damage to enemies caught inside, turning the overheat moment into the ZPU-1 EF’s biggest battlefield payoff.
changedThat means stronger elemental explosions, better payoff from its fire and frost effects, and even more value for Airmen who push the weapon through its refinement path.

Attention, Airmen!

A new Prototype Weapon is entering the fight: the ZPU-1 EF, a Light Cannon built around fire, frost, and overheat payoff.

The ZPU-1 EF gives Airmen a new dual-element weapon to chase, master, and bring into battle. Each shot can trigger a fire explosion, a frost explosion, or both at once, giving this Light Cannon strong battlefield control and serious damage potential against the horde.

Fire explosions deal damage over a short duration, while frost explosions damage enemies and freeze them over the same duration. When both trigger together, the result is exactly what the undead deserve: a very bad day with no clear weather forecast.

The weapon also builds residual heat. Every 3rd shot adds 10% residual heat, and that heat does not cool down passively. Keep firing, keep building pressure, and once the weapon overheats, the final bullet creates an Ember-Frost area.

This Ember-Frost area stays active for a few seconds and deals heavy damage to enemies caught inside, turning the overheat moment into the ZPU-1 EF’s biggest battlefield payoff.

Refining the ZPU-1 EF makes its elemental power even stronger through Elemental Detonation.

At MK3, Elemental Detonation increases by 10%.

At MK6, Elemental Detonation increases by 20%.

That means stronger elemental explosions, better payoff from its fire and frost effects, and even more value for Airmen who push the weapon through its refinement path.

The ZPU-1 EF will be available as a Seasonal Top 25 reward. Reaching the top takes strong runs, smart loadouts, and serious commitment, so prepare your best setup and fight for your place on the leaderboard.

Good hunting, Airmen.
