changedJust in time for Steam Next Fest, we have released a patch for the demo (version 4.51) that features several quality-of-life improvements:
addedThe main heroines will receive bio updates in the Student Handbook (additional pages will be added for them featuring these entries).
changedThe Glossary will receive major updates with additional terms. 300+ was advertised (up from 30 in the demo), so we'll see how many I can squeeze in. These will naturally be unlocked throughout the course of the game, some locked behind different choices.
changedI may be forgetting something, but that's the brief overview! In addition, a digital artbook soundtrack will be available for purchase, which should be ready by launch (here's hoping).
changedIn the meantime, I'll get back to the development grind! Our next post will be detailing the imminent launch of the game, so stay tuned!

Thanks, everyone, for your interest in Zeta Wolf Chronicles. We have received a considerable amount of exposure and wishlists since our debut, so I appreciate you giving our demo a try! I wanted to give our players an overview of what to expect going into our full release.

Just in time for Steam Next Fest, we have released a patch for the demo (version 4.51) that features several quality-of-life improvements:

  • The day and route are listed on scene transitions (or selection).

This is a small visual improvement that simply gives greater clarity to the current scene and route that you are on. This is especially helpful when navigating through the Timeline! I had also intended to implement timestamps for scenes on the timeline menus, but unfortunately, it didn't make it for this release! There is a possibility that I will go ahead and push this update by the end of Next Fest, however.

Release is expected between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027. To be honest, I am expecting the launch to be closer to the latter half of the estimated date, simply because there is so much to do. Here's a brief overview of what to expect:

  • There will be approximately 4-5 hours of additional playtime (conservative estimate) per route (4), plus an epilogue route.

  • The Student Handbook will be fully accessible, featuring all characters.

  • The main heroines will receive bio updates in the Student Handbook (additional pages will be added for them featuring these entries).

  • The Glossary will receive major updates with additional terms. 300+ was advertised (up from 30 in the demo), so we'll see how many I can squeeze in. These will naturally be unlocked throughout the course of the game, some locked behind different choices.

  • All dialogue from Ravia, Maikah, Alphi, and Rika will be fully voiced. The rest of the characters are partially voiced.

  • Look forward to "bedtime conversation" segments with the main heroines, where you can delve into a wide variety of in-depth conversations on various topics.

I may be forgetting something, but that's the brief overview! In addition, a digital artbook soundtrack will be available for purchase, which should be ready by launch (here's hoping).

If you encounter any bugs, feel free to mention them on the Steam community forums or on our Discord channel. Thank you!

Haven't wishlisted the game yet? Your support is much appreciated!

In the meantime, I'll get back to the development grind! Our next post will be detailing the imminent launch of the game, so stay tuned!
