addedSteam post image Zangyou has passed 4,000 new wishlists! That’s a lot more people suddenly watching this strange office building, so first: thank you. I’m a solo developer, and seeing that many people find the game this quickly has pushed me to make the Steam page, demo plans, and final direction clearer. I want Zangyou to be a compact, focused horror game about escaping a hostile Tokyo office tower. The core of the game is still the same: you wake up high above the city, the building starts working against you, MirAI controls the lights, locks, elevators, and routes, and the deeper you go, the less the building behaves like a real place. There will also be spaces that don’t quite belong there. Places that feel like they’ve slipped out of the building entirely.
removedI’m also planning to remove the Early Access label.

There will also be spaces that don’t quite belong there. Places that feel like they’ve slipped out of the building entirely.

I’m also planning to remove the Early Access label.

The reason is simple

Zangyou makes more sense as a complete first release than as a long Early Access project. Early Access usually works best when a game is built around regular public builds, big content drops, and long-term community balancing. Zangyou is more story and atmosphere driven, and I don’t want players’ first experience to be a half-shaped version of the escape.

Right now I’m working on

  • making the building feel more reactive and hostile

  • improving the threat from MirAI and the patrol systems

  • tightening puzzles, locked routes, and floor progression

  • polishing the Steam page so the game is clearer at a glance

With that said, the demo is still coming. I’ll share more as soon as I can.

Thanks again for wishlisting and following Zangyou.
