New Graphics and Workshop Update

Hi everyone! First of all I want to thank you for playing. Even though the game is still small, some of you have taken the time to involve yourself with the community, and for that you have my deepest appreciation.

Hi everyone!

First of all I want to thank you for playing. Even though the game is still small, some of you have taken the time to involve yourself with the community, and for that you have my deepest appreciation.

With this update I've put a "Good Enough" stamp on two major aspects of the game: Graphics and Workshop.

There is still work to be done in these categories: improving animations, improving lighting, creating a tutorial for build mode, etc.

For now, though, I'll be moving on to another major segment: Story.

The objectives for this will include:

  • Improving the existing dialog system that's currently used for tutorials.

  • Setting up models to be shown in the dialog system.

  • Setting up animations for characters to emote.

  • Exposing the dialog system to the workshop for creators to make their own content.

  • Skippable dialog and turning dialog off in the settings.

I'm hoping to create a light story with minimal dialog, something that doesn't interrupt play too heavily but still gives context for what's happening in the puzzles.

That's all for now, LimeBlossom
