Thank you so much for playing Yomi-no-Kuni! We're excited to share what we're working on. This is your game as much as ours, so your feedback will shape everything below.
🔥 Milestone 1 — Stability & Balance
Before anything else, we're listening. The first milestone is all about making sure the foundation is rock solid.
Bug fixes based on your reports
Balance pass on card stats, gold economy, and wave difficulty
Quality-of-life improvements to UI and gamepad support
General polish based on community feedback

⚔️ Milestone 2 — New Content Drop
This is the big one. A wave of new content is coming to expand your runs and shake up your strategy.
New Yokai Cards More companions to recruit, each with unique abilities, bond effects, and playstyles. Expect new elemental affinities and synergies to discover.
New Abilities & Items New on-play, on-attack, and passive abilities hitting the card pool. New item cards to spend gold on at the shop and rest sites.
New Charms & Curses More charms to find at shrines, and new curses that make your runs more dangerous — and more rewarding.
🗺️ Milestone 3 — Deeper into the Underworld & Cursed Mode
The world of Yomi-no-Kuni grows darker the further you descend — and now every day brings a new challenge.
New Levels Additional cursed levels of the underworld, each with their own enemy pool, boss, and atmosphere. New boss Yokai with special mechanics that demand new strategies.
New Heroes More playable heroes to unlock, each bringing a unique starting deck and passive ability that changes how you approach every run.
☠️ Cursed Mode (Daily Challenge) Every day, a new curse descends on Yomi-no-Kuni. Can you survive it?
Cursed Mode is a daily challenge where everyone plays the same seed with a unique modifier active for that day. Compete for the top score on the global leaderboard and see how you stack up against other players around the world.
Each day brings a different curse, including:
Blood Moon — All enemies enter each battle fuelled by Rage
Izanami's Wrath — After every Elite fight, one of your allies is cursed by Izanami herself
Heavy Burden — Item cards cost more to play, forcing harder decisions
Unrelenting — Rest Sites offer no refuge — healing only, no crafting or removal
Overkill Frenzy — Overkill bonuses are doubled, rewarding aggressive play
🌏 Milestone 4 — Full Launch
The final stretch before leaving Early Access.
Localisation support for additional languages
Full Steam achievements pass
Final balance and content tuning based on everything we've learned during Early Access
