Major Summer Update - Summer Groove is Here!
Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for supporting Yokai Art 2 since launch. Your feedback has helped us improve the game, and we're excited to bring you our biggest free update yet!
This update introduces a brand-new seasonal event, gameplay improvements, unit reworks, bug fixes, and a sneak peek at two upcoming DLCs.

☀️ New Limited-Time Event: Summer Groove
The summer festival has arrived in Jiangnan!
Hiro and Kyuubi travel to the annual Summer Groove Festival, where Kyuubi debuts her brand-new summer swimsuit. The festival is filled with music, dancing, and celebration... until night falls.
A music-obsessed Red Oni appears, blasting irresistible beats through enormous speakers. One by one, the local children begin sleepwalking, helplessly dancing wherever the rhythm leads them!
Now it's up to Hiro to rescue them before the night's groove gets completely out of control.
New Rhythm-Based Gameplay
This event introduces an entirely new battle mechanic!
Every ally and enemy attacks only on the beat.
Build your own beat pattern before battle.
Place units on the correct beats to trigger bonus attacks and powerful rhythm combos.
Master the rhythm to defeat enemies with perfect timing!

Gameplay Improvements
Guardian Lion Rework
The Guardian Lion has received a major overhaul.
One of its Talents now increases the Attack Speed of nearby allies, making it a much stronger support unit.
Kyuubi Tekki
Skill visual effects revamped.
Balance adjustments.
Added an optional Space Cut visual toggle.
Additional Improvements
Various bug fixes and gameplay improvements.
