What is Xilosaga?

Xilosaga is a comical action and platform game, set in northeastern Brazil with elements of local folklore. Help Tatuapu purge evil spirits from the inhabitants and carrancas affected by the plague, spread throughout the region. Confront ferocious versions of the plague-affected fauna, inhabitants, and mythical creatures of folklore.

Acquire items, including indigenous weapons, which will help on the journey and allow access to certain locations in the levels and obtain more coins. In stores, improve ammunition and weapon durability, acquire hit point improvements and unique movement skills.

In bars spread across the map, interact with NPCs, discover comical poems based on cordel literature and earn more coins.

What is the story of Xilosaga?

The player controls Tatuapú, an Indian from a local tribe who sets out on a journey to discover northeastern Brazil. On the journey he realizes that the plague, an ancient evil, has corrupted carrancas throughout the region. With corruption, carrancas began to attract evil spirits that, consequently, affected living beings in the region.

With the desire to get to know the Brazilian northeast, Tatuapú's journey turns into a saga of purging evil spirits.

Who is creating Xilosaga?

Morphusion Games, a Brazilian games studio currently composed of developer Jorge Lindoso, who has experience with programming in a games company, a digital art course and a game production course. The studio previously released the Steel Fight game on the Steam platform.

What platforms will Xilosaga be released on?

The game will be released for PC first. We also want to bring the game to consoles, but that's a decision we'll make once the PC version is ready.

How long will the game be?

The main campaign will last approximately 4 to 6 hours, which can be extended with Side B mode.

Will the game have early access?

Yes, we want to make a development version available to obtain feedback during the process and deliver a higher quality product.

Will the game have multiplayer mode?

No, the game will not include a multiplayer mode.

When will the game be available?

We plan to make the early access version available in the coming weeks and the full release version after a few months.

What will the price of the game be?

The price of the game is in the decision and evaluation phase. We plan to have a set price for the early access version in the coming weeks.

What languages ​​will the game support?

Initially the game will support PT-BR and English. We are evaluating the full list of languages ​​to reach a wider audience.
