Demo Update! Bugfixes and Video Codec (hopefully) proton compatible.
Hello there! First of all, I want to thank everyone that played the demo during Steam Next Fest, it was really awesome to see so many of you enjoying our little game! Almost 10.

changedBut, with a lot of downloads come a lot of unforeseen bugs! Based on the public and private comments, we realized we had an interaction issue that froze the game in very specific situations, when 2 interaction colliders were too close to each other and the player positioned Daaia right in the middle, and when the player interacted right at the edge of the collider and moved out of it as the interaction started.
changedAlso people trying to play it on Steam Deck couldn't start the first mission, because the .mp4 codec we were using wasn't compatible with Proton.
fixedSo we (hopefully) fixed the interaction issue by rearranging the colliders, and also by changing Daaia's behavior during the interaction, now if the player starts interacting with something, Daaia will auto-walk and reposition herself at a safe interaction spot. We've been testing this for the past 4 days and so far we haven't been able to reproduce that freezing bug anymore! : D If someone gets a random freeze using this latest build (v0.1.5.2.10_Demo), please report it on Shikon-X Steam Community or in our Discord channel.

So please, Steam Deck players, let us know if you can now play the entire demo and watch the video that shows up when you start the 1st mission (after solving Sparky's puzzle). (We're in Chile and Argentina, and our countries can't get Steam Decks yet, so we have no way to test it).

If it works, we're going to reencode all the videos to VP8 so the full game is 100% compatible with Steam Deck : )
