addedWith new out-of-this-world arenas and party-time characters created, we needed a new-look logo for Wreckout to capture the essence of the game.
changedCapturing the ActionWe chose the sketch which felt like it captured the fun-factor of the game and the vehicle element, but we also wanted to incorporate the unique "car-catapult" mechanic which is central the the Wreckout experience, so the next stage was to sketch in some ideas for incorporating the tethered ball:
changedCapturing the ActionWe realised at this stage that we could capture another key element of the gameplay by using the font to represent the bricks which players smash up in the game. This was worked into the design as we moved into the colour-test phase:

Capturing the Action

We wanted a logo which captured the unique action of Wreckout at a glance. We started with some concept sketches:
