Local and Online Multiplayer, 2-4 players

The Wreckout demo features both local multiplayer (2-4 players) and online multiplayer (2 players). Select "Find Game" in the online battle section and you will either join an existing lobby or begin hosting a game while you wait for a second player.

Coin Chase Practice Mode

There is also a single player practice mode where you can hone your skills while trying to collect as many coins as possible.

Controls

We recommend playing with a controller:

Hints & Tips

Like the best sports the basic rules of Wreckout are simple - whoever has the most bricks left at the end of each round wins - but there's a huge amount of depth and skill to master.

Rounds & Sudden Death

There are three rounds in a Wreckout match, like in a beat 'em up. If the score is equal at the end of a round you will enter "sudden death" where the next brick wins.

Power Shot

Release the ball at just the right moment to do extra damage:

Wrecking Ball Limiter

If you hold on to the ball and hit breaks, your energy beam will weaken until you drop the ball:

Missing can backfire

If you miss your opponents bricks, the ball will bounce back more quickly, putting you on the defensive:

Skill Meter & Ultimates

When you fill your skill meter to level 1, you can trigger your ultimate ability, but let it fill to level 3 and you will get triple the impact.
