Changes

-Added controller support.

-Added Steam Deck support. While the game already technically worked on Steam Deck the controls weren’t great, this has now been greatly improved!

-Freeze on Hover is now automatically toggled on for first time Steam Deck users, this makes it easier to pick up wormies.

-Added Linux support. Same as above, the game technically already ran on Linux but some functionality like Steam achievements weren’t functioning yet.

-Added a new controls page in the settings menu.

-Breeding plain wormies with certain special recolorable wormies will now always result in the child becoming a special wormie instead of a plain wormie.

-Added a sound effect to changing wormie list pages on the sell box screen.

Bug Fixes

-Hopefully fixed the issue where webshop messages could appear empty.

-Fixed resolution settings scrolling very slowly.

-Can no longer open the computer while the game is paused.

-Can no longer move between crates while the game is paused or the computer is open.

Please note!

If you were already playing Wormies on Steam Deck or Linux, your save files will be missing due to the game now running a native Linux instead of Windows build.

You can recover your save files by doing the following: Steam Deck

-Hold the power button

-Press Switch to Desktop

-Open the file browser

-Enable Hidden Files

-Navigate to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/4058290/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow

-Find the Maple Bay folder and the Wormies folder inside.

-Copy your wanted save file folders

-Go back to home in the file browser

-Navigate to /home/deck/.config/unity3d/

-Find the new Maple Bay and Wormies folder in there.

-Replace the empty save file folders with your old ones by pasting them in there.

-Go back to normal Steam Deck mode and launch Wormies

-Your save files should now be there! Linux

-Navigate to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/4058290/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow

-Find the Maple Bay folder and the Wormies folder inside.

-Copy your wanted save file folders

-Go back to home in the file browser

-Navigate to /home/user/.config/unity3d/

-Find the new Maple Bay and Wormies folder in there.

-Replace the empty save file folders with your old ones by pasting them in there.

-Launch wormies

-Your save files should now be there!
