🌈 Demo Release — Play World Was Gray Now! 🎨
Hello everyone! We’re a husband-and-wife indie dev duo currently working on World Was Gray, a cozy, kid-friendly coloring game inspired by our love for painting and number-coloring books.
The game is set in a world that has turned completely gray—life has stopped, and color has vanished. You play as a Child of Light, restoring color to the world and bringing it back to life in your own creative way.
We’re excited to share that a playable demo of World Was Gray is now live on Steam!
In this demo you can:
Explore the first three handcrafted levels — the quiet bench, the train station, and the whimsical mushroom house village
Experience the core loop of the game: restore color to a grayscale world using gentle paint interactions
Play at your own pace — there’s no pressure, only calm and satisfying moments
Try out the interactive main menu and discover hidden little surprises
We made this demo so you can get a real feel for what World Was Gray is all about: soft visuals, soothing interactions, and that delightful pull of watching a place come back to life. Whether you’re here to relax or just curious about the game, we hope it brings you a bit of joy.
Your feedback matters! If you enjoy the demo, please add us to your favorites and drop a wishlist and a review on the DEMO page. Every bit helps us make the full game even better.
Thank you for checking it out — we can’t wait to hear what you think. 😊
Lots of love <3 M-Y
