Worldseekers - Deckbuilding RPG changes
The Seekers call! Are you ready to spin tales and craft encounters worthy of the Ten Thousand Realms! Do you have the storytelling prowess to send players on adventures that linger in their memories long after the dungeon door closes?
We’re looking for short but captivating map and dungeon events to weave into the world of Worldseekers. We have a NARRATIVE BIBLE for you to reference here -- but beware players, there are spoilers within.
Winning stories will be included in the final game
The best submissions will be honored with a place in the final game, with your name etched in the annals of the Seekers’ history (you’ll be fully credited, of course)!
Here's how to submit
In terms of length, we recommend keeping it short. We'll accept stories of any length for the competition, but I want to respect your time and also our players. With short attention spans, keeping things short and sweet can go a long way!
Keep your submission under 1500 words—we like stories sharp and to the point!
Limit your event to 5 narrative choices or fewer. Quick decisions lead to exciting turns!
Use Twine, Inkle, or Articy to create your event. These tools are perfect for crafting branching paths and player choices.
Starting the process:
Craft your event using Twine or Articy.
Share your project file or link, along with a brief description of your encounter to final.boss.editing@gmail.com
The deadline for submission is October 31st HALLOWEEN!!!! Time waits for no Seeker and spooky events are appreciated!
Gather your quills, ready your imagination, and set forth into the realms of storytelling. Your tale could be the one that shapes the very reality of Worldseekers.
