Presenting Meta Control!

You can now lock in on different meta types and use them as a new way to observe your favorite units, species, cities, kingdoms, and stuff

When in control mode, fog of war will disappear around the units and cities belonging to that meta. You'll only be able to give orders to those units.

So if you’ve ever wanted to play as a kingdom, or as a single city inside a kingdom, now you can.

And "play" means not just moving units around - you'll also be able to order units to build structures, chop trees, and do other useful stuff.

And not only that. You can play as a pack of wolves. A horde of zombies and skeletons. Or even as a religion. Or a language.

And if you want a bit more roleplay, you can enable ChessBox Mode in World Laws, which restricts some of your god powers during control mode.

Fog of war now affects diplomacy too. Kingdoms need to meet each other first before they can start wars.

You can also see what units of a specific meta can see, even without locking in

There's also stuff like the farm rework. And corpses rotting away, which you can resurrect yourself, like a necroweirdo.

Can't wait to show more, but that's for later!

Cheers!
