The first ever major Update for World Zero is here! This update was made to polish some stuff out like gameplay and dialogue to prepare the game for future updates.
Character Balancing
Several characters in the game felt either too weak or too strong and sometimes, somehow, both. These are the list of changes for each character in this update.

Removed the fishing village(the place where you recruit Amber)
I feel that the story was a bit rushed and the Japanese aesthetic clashes with the character designs in the game. Amber will be back.
Added new NPCs in the final area of the game that give unique dialogue options

They would usually come with vending machines to buy consumables from.
Special attacks do more damage while basics do less
Changed some damage values and damage formulas so specials can do more damage while basic attacks do less
Added 8-directional movement
Removed the random encounters in the first section of the game
