addedImproved Graphics for All TanksSince 2021, all new tanks have been released with improved visual quality (PBR). Older vehicles have been updated gradually, with a new batch improved in each version update. With the WoT Blitz Reforged Update, we're completing that transition in one leap: all 700+ vehicles are now in PBR quality.
addedChoose Your Tank Easier Than EverThere is also a new Tanks screen that gives you a full view of the game's roster—tanks you already own, tanks you have yet to unlock, and tanks you may not have come across before. It gives you a broader way to explore the full lineup and decide what you want to roll out in next.
changedDiscover Tank Roles in BattleAs you already know, tanks within the same class can play very differently. For example, the Grille 15 excels at long-range combat, and its role as a Sniper reflects that. Now look at the T110E3 or the WZ-113G FT. Their strong armor allows them to fight in the thick of battle, which is why their role is Close Support. Even though all of these vehicles are tank destroyers, their playstyles are very different.

Improved Graphics for All Tanks

Since 2021, all new tanks have been released with improved visual quality (PBR). Older vehicles have been updated gradually, with a new batch improved in each version update. With the WoT Blitz Reforged Update, we're completing that transition in one leap: all 700+ vehicles are now in PBR quality.

Choose Your Tank Easier Than Ever

Picking a tank before battle still works the way you're used to. The carousel is still there, and the filters are still right where you expect them, letting you sort by class, Tier, nation, and more.

There is also a new Tanks screen that gives you a full view of the game's roster—tanks you already own, tanks you have yet to unlock, and tanks you may not have come across before. It gives you a broader way to explore the full lineup and decide what you want to roll out in next.

Discover Tank Roles in Battle

In this update, we're introducing information about each tank's tactical role. You'll be able to see it on the Loadout screen and use it when searching for a vehicle on the Tanks screen.

The same is true for every tank class. Knowing a tank's role will help you understand more quickly how it performs on the battlefield.

Reconfigured Loadout and Upgrades

We've refreshed the Loadout screen, keeping the same logic you know. Equipment, shells, and consumables right where you expect them.

Provisions have been removed. Their bonuses are now transferred into the tank's stock setup and into the modules upgrade path. That means no more separate silver spending on provisions after battles: once a tank is upgraded, those bonuses stay with it.

The Upgrades screen has changed the most. Now, you improve your modules with silver, making early tank setup more straightforward. If you have silver, you can unlock modules right away. In practice, this can mean spending more silver on upgrades, but it also removes the need to grind through the stock setup first.

Updated Customization Setup

Customization has also been improved with a new Style-based system. Some camouflages have become Styles, and one Style may include several Skins, such as different color options for the same pattern.

Set one Style across all map types in one step, or tune the look with Attachments for each season. For example, equip a Snowgun Attachment only for winter maps, and a fiery Spear 'n Sear Attachment for deserts. With the new engine, we'll be able to add even more customization features over time.

Vintage Tier: Reviving Low-Tier Tanks

Low-tier tanks now have a clearer role in Blitz. Tier I–III and some Tier IV vehicles are grouped into the new Vintage Tier, with separate matchmaking that only pits them against other Vintage tanks. To research Vintage tanks, progress through Vintage Sets.

Take Vehicles for a Test Drive

Test Drive is a new feature that lets you temporarily add a tank you do not own to your Garage in a fully upgraded, equipped state. The tank will be available for you for three battlesor 24 hours—whichever comes first. Starting a Test Drive requires Test Drive Tokens. These are guaranteed in Basic Week's Supply Containers, may drop from Strategic Day's Supply Containers, and can also appear in activities.

Test Drive allows you to try out tanks before researching or unlocking them. Be sure to spend your hard-earned resources on tanks that feel right for you!
