Hey crossword solvers! Our demo just received a CEFR-focused update, adding better control over word difficulty, richer grids, and a few quality-of-life fixes. Perfect for players who want a more learning-friendly (or more challenging!) experience 📚🧠

🎓 CEFR Difficulty Selection

📘 What is CEFR?

CEFR stands for Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It’s an internationally recognized scale used to classify language proficiency levels:

• A1–A2: Beginner

• B1–B2: Intermediate

• C1–C2: Advanced

These levels determine the vocabulary difficulty used in your crossword.

⚙️ CEFR Toggles in Settings

You can now choose exactly which CEFR levels your crossword pulls words from:

• Toggle any level from A1 through C2

• By default, all CEFR levels (A1–C2) are enabled

• Each match will randomly choose a CEFR level from the enabled preferences of all players

This gives you full control — whether you want beginner-friendly puzzles, advanced challenges, or a mix of everything 🎯

🧩 Non-CEFR Words Toggle

Want to go fully curated or keep things spicy?

• Toggle Non-CEFR words on or off

• Disable them for a more structured learning experience

• Enable them for broader vocabulary and unexpected challenges

🔤 Bigger & Fuller Crosswords

• ⬆️ Longest word length increased

• From 8 letters → 14 letters

• Grids are now populated with more words and longer entries, making puzzles feel richer and more satisfying to solve
