World Rules

  • Added the optional Passive Food Drain rule. It is off by default:

    • Off: Food does not drain over time.

    • Slow: -1 Food every 20 seconds.

    • Standard: -1 Food every 10 seconds.

  • In single-player, you decide. In multiplayer, the host sets the rule for the world.

  • Improved World Rules layout, status display, and multiplayer notifications.

  • Added a confirmation prompt before turning off Durability Loss, explaining its impact on gear maintenance, resource planning, and the Repair Bench. Players looking for lighter maintenance can also lower the Repair Material Cost first.

Monster Spawning

  • Monsters can no longer spawn on cells occupied by plants.

We’re planning more systematic improvements to home building and monster spawning in future updates.

This is player Ola慧’s home. After the update, monsters should no longer be “growing” in the fields!

Shops and Collection

  • Fixed the unlock condition for Thick-Skinned Pumpkin Seeds and improved the shop randomization algorithm. The seeds can finally appear correctly in A.O.I.’s shop!

  • Pescetarian now improves all positive effects provided by fish dishes.

  • Increased the drop rate of Mousey-Mouse Issue 1 from 5% to 50%. It can now also appear in Rohen’s shop.

  • The Scavenger now guarantees Capybara Glasses and a Desert King Coin.

  • The Desert King now guarantees Speed! Issue 3.

Stability and Multiplayer

  • Attempted to fix freezes when launching the game a second time after exiting.

  • Attempted to fix stalls while joining multiplayer games and improved world and minimap data transfers.

  • Fixed power networks and circuit devices sometimes failing to reconnect after reloading an area or reconnecting online.

  • Improved important location generation in newly created worlds, reducing overcrowding, biome boundary issues, and incomplete dependent locations. This only affects worlds created after the update.

Controls and Fixes

  • Fixed the Crab House being activatable before its repairs were completed.

  • Improved Crab House relocation checks to avoid unsafe or unusable positions.

  • Improved controller navigation in the Cooking interface.

  • Fixed minimap data issues in enclosed areas and added a minimap marker for Sandstone Piles.

  • Fixed grass flooring not displaying in caves and corrected some cave footstep sounds.

  • Fixed vehicle engine sounds not following volume settings.

  • Clarified descriptions for Melee ATK, Melee ATK SPD, and consecutive melee hits.
