Updating the character sprite, what do you think?

To be completely honest, the current player character sprite looks bad and amateurish. It was created in haste while focusing on other parts of the game. Making the video and screenshots for the Steam page made me realize that improving it should be a priority.

Before updating all directions and event-based animations, I want to share what I've done so far and get your feedback. The first gif in the message is obviously the new sprite, with the gif below as a slightly embarrassing comparison. 🙈

Please share your thoughts with me here or on the Discord server. Is it a boring concept? Can the palette be improved? The animation? Or, if you just like it as it is, let me know. I'm still open to big changes. For starters, the character doesn't look much like a fox anymore, so I would probably need to adjust the species. 🤗
