Witchveil Hollow changes
Playtest sign-ups for Witchveil Hollow are now open!
Everything is finally starting to come together into something that truly represents the direction I've meant for this game. I’m soooo excited to begin sharing it with you.
The playtest is planned for early May, and this will be the first time players can step into the world.
This will be only a small slice, focused on the core experience:
Fighting (with only the beginning magic, more to be unlocked later)
Potion selling
Meeting NPCs
A little house decorating
Exploring a small section of the world
UI and game feel
This early development stage is about making sure the core functions of the game feel right (and that it's playable! haha) and I fix any bugs while getting the demo prepared.
A mini roadmap of how testing will go:
First Playtest (May) to test everything and working on any major fixes that need to be made.
Official Beta Release to show a glimpse of the beginning of the game and improvements from the playtest.
Final Playtest of the full game for testing with the entire story with all systems, zones, romance, and pets. To fix any remaining, possibly game breaking, bugs that I definitely do not want to release with, and polish everything up!
