We’ve received so many requests for additional levels during the last year, that even though we’re quite busy working on our second game, we just had to listen to you!
We proudly present the new arcade area, containing 16 new bonus levels for you to increase your gem count to a total of 180 while adding more seconds to your high score, which you can now compare to other players through steam-leaderboards! Watch out for a portal in chapter five and make sure to bring at least 40 gems!
Free Update
We’ve decided to release this content as a free update because it adds more playtime to the base game, which we think is a win for everyone. Now if you enjoy what we do and you’re looking for ways to support us, the best way is by leaving a review on Steam, no matter how short it is! As a small indie team of two developers, we totally depend on every single voice out there :)
Highscores and Leaderboards
Witchtastic is all about being fast! If you finish a level with witchtastic-rating, the remaining timer-seconds are stored as your record. As you might know, there is an overall high score in Witchtastic, that represents the sum of all your level’s records in the current profile. Take a look at the crystal sphere in your witch hut! You can now compare your 1-player, 2-player, 3-player and 4-player high scores to other players through steam leaderboards! Note that in order to transmit your high score to the leaderboards (no matter if all the records where achieved before or after the update), you need to play at least one level with the latest Witchtastic update and with the respective player combination.

Witchtastic is all about working together and being as fast as possible! We want to know who is the fastest 2-player-team! If you can manage to be at the top 2-player-leaderboard-position on March 15 | 18:00 CET | 1 PM ET | 10 AM PT, please join our discord channel and we’ll have a little reward for you!
Arcade Area Access
Since the arcade area is end game content, it’s required to finish chapter five and collect at least 40 gems in order to unlock the portal. We’d just like to remind anyone who is struggeling with this, that you can enable easy mode through the options, which makes it way easyer to collect gems and therefore greatly reduces the barrier to unlock the additional content. Keep in mind that levels completed with easy mode do not contribute to the high score! You can however always come back and replay them without easy mode to achieve a time-record that contributes.
