Patch 1.8.0 - Introducing 6 Reforged Realms Maps!

Reforged Realms has arrived! ✨

We're super excited to finally reveal the 6 winning maps following the Reforged Realms map contest earlier this year! The roster is absolutely incredible, and we did our best to bring them as visually close to official maps as possible via new landscaping tech, new shaders and updated lighting. All 6 maps are now available to play in-game! 🗺️

In addition, we've added 15 structures, 18 materials and 2 secret props to discover, as well as releasing our brand new Witch It website! Read on for more details... ⬇️

🦴 Moody Town

Sneak into Moody Town, a reforge of Sleeping Rose Cemetery. Explore this prehistoric-industrial landscape where something seems to have gone terribly wrong. Hide amongst the toxic pools and disturbing architecture, but be aware - the entire underground is inaccessible (for reasons we fear to discover), limiting your hiding options. Get creative with your hiding spots and use the verticality of the architecture to your advantage! 🧗

Moody Town was created by distortion, marking their first ever win as a Grand Architect.

🦈 Reef of the Drowned Potato

Wade through the Reef of the Drowned Potato, a reforge of The Chummy Potato. Tour through the familiar streets now contained within a huge aquarium, and hide beside the sealife that call it home. Possess the floating fish to stay undetected, and scout all the new shortcuts and tunnels to make a quick escape. Keep an eye out for the monstrous shark circling overhead; it (probably) won't bite, right? 👀

Reef of the Drowned Potato was created by Obscura, securing their second win as a Grand Architect.

🏰 Sunset Halls

No word describes Sunset Halls better than extravagant! Located in the upper floor of Ebonwhite Castle, these luxurious rooms are filled with glorious riches, trinkets and treasures that would make even the richest hunters envious. Each room is dense with props, providing witches with countless hiding opportunities. Gates and hidden passages can be opened between the rooms - open them as a witch to maximise your escape options, or close them as a hunter to deny witches an easy getaway! 🧙‍♀️

Sunset Halls was created by Venena, their first ever win as a Grand Architect.

⭐ Useful Tip: Stand on these pressure pads near gates to open them. Be aware that you will have to transform from a prop back into a witch to use these! You can also find hidden switches nearby to invert the gate logic - this will cause the light of the gate to glow red. Use this information for a strategic advantage! 🔒

🎢 The Luaq Park

Step right up... The Luaq Park is now open for business! Rollercoaster Island has reopened under new management, with plenty of surprises waiting inside. Check out the wide variety of attractions scattered around the park, and equip Power Ball as a hunter to ride the coaster! If you're not a fan of fast rides, take shelter in the haunted house or try your luck at the carnival games. Grab your ticket and join the fun! 🎟️

☃️ Snowstorm at Morgenstund

Ever wondered what Morgenstund might look like in the Winter? Wonder no more; Snowstorm at Morgenstund transforms our beloved village into a frosty wonderland! Hunt and hide in familiar locations from the original, or make use of the previously inaccessible areas that have now opened up, revealing strategic escape routes. Don't forget to wrap up warm! 🧣

Snowstorm at Morgenstund was created by fri., his 3rd win as a Grand Architect.

🌴 The Tower Out Of Oblivion

Set on a sun-soaked cove, The Tower Out Of Oblivion is equal parts tropical retreat and unsolved mystery; nobody quite knows what the tower in the middle was used for when it was known as The Tower Into Oblivion, but it sure does make for an excellent witch hunting ground! Use the pipes to traverse around the map unseen, or disappear among the vines that cling to the rocky cliffs. 🌿

The Tower Out Of Oblivion was created by kas, their 1st win as a Grand Architect!

18 New Materials and New Tileable Ground Shape

Creating round structures and maps can be frustrating, especially when limited to square tiles, so we're introducing a round tileable ground shape to make this process much easier! ⭕

Both square and round tileable grounds now have 14 new materials:

🪨 5 basic paving stone / cobblestone materials materials tinted for different themes.

🌱 9 mixed materials overlaid with dirt, grass, sand and puddles.

There are now 2 liquid materials for puddles: one translucent water material, and a greenish, toxic-looking, flowing substance. 💧

In addition, there are now 2 new branch leaves: besides green and snow-covered leaves, you can now also choose between two materials featuring autumn leaves. 🍂

2 New Secret Props

Without spoiling too much, the 2 new secret props can be found on maps similar to the ones featured in Prop Sumo: Dream Valley Castle (Castle), Shard of Wiqqarra (Desert), Shipwreck Hollow (Cave), Morgenstund (Treeshroom), and Morgaryll Forest (Witch Forest)! 🍄

Seek them out and add them to your prop collection! 🔎

Summer Festival Returns!

Remember all the way back in 2017 when we hosted our summer event? What a year! ☀️

We're excited to bring the festival spirit back once again! During the event, you can earn "Starfish" and craft summer items while the event lasts! 🩳

The Summer Festival will end on July 22th, 6pm CEST.

How do I obtain Summer items?

Opening Witch It during the Summer Festival event will grant you 30 "Sand Castles"! A Sand Castle contains a random Summer item, which can only be opened by combining them with"Starfish". ⭐

To earn Starfish, fill up the Item Cauldron with 250 experience points. You can see the item cauldron fill up at the end of the round, on the level up screen.

Starfish have a 60% chance of being earned on any Official server once the item cauldron is filled. If you're lucky enough to earn one, head back to the main menu and press'Summer Festival'to combine it with a Sand Castle! 🏖️

Every Summer item earned through Sand Castles are tradable and craftable even after the event is over. If you use up all your Sand Castles, you can craft more by combining 5 Starfish together!

Note: Starfish can only be obtained in Official servers.

You can also receive summer items through:

• Random drops from filling up the item cauldron at the end of a round.

• Crafting summer recipes in the witches' cauldron.

• Trading with other players (we recommend using our Discord server to find traders).
