addedHi All, So Far we're pretty happy with how stuff has gone :). Most of you seem to "get it", which was our largest worry about this game. It's an RPG where you make choices, get lost, find stuff, make mistakes, and die a lot, but looks like a 3D action game where you are guided along a linear path (because 3D action games look nice, and moving around freely is cool), and we were pretty sure that this in it's own right would throw a lot of folk, particularly after we saw the feedback for the greenlight, which seemed to describe expectations of a completely different game. And yes, a few of you were thrown by the fact that the way to save your game is actually hidden in the game. We tried a normal save-game menu, as well as your bog standard checkpoints, and they felt wrong for this game. She is a witch and genuinely can save her experiences like a save game, but not from a menu, or reaching arbitrary stages within the game. But... we can already see from the screenshots that folks are finding a lot of the weirder stuff that's even harder to find. We've just updated the wizard to something a bit more in keeping with the mood of the game (as based on John Dee), an Alchemist (although the original wizard can still be seen), and those of you who like the "visions" or mini-games may wish to try "St Anthony's fire." (err.... but not in real life, it's deadly in real life). Anyway, we'll try and keep you posted (we don't like writing stuff). Thanks ********Random stuff that might appeal to the curious************** The Baron is clothed as based on pictures of Richard the third. The new alchemist is based on John Dee. The "Dame" is inspired by a Depeche mode album cover. The music coming from the church is "Lyke Wake Dirge" a traditional song. The Towns names are Viking/Saxon, as are the spell names. There are a few hidden references to folklore and mythology but as ever, we won't tell you what.
