Demo Update Overview
This update improves the overall feel and clarity of the WildWars demo, with a focus on usability, pacing, and fixing early progression issues. Audio and scalability options are now partially functional, in-match flow has been improved, and several UI and tutorial issues have been resolved.
Improvements
Settings Menu The settings menu now has partial functionality. Audio controls and overall scalability settings are working. The system remains a work in progress and will continue to be expanded.
Tutorial UI All tutorial text has been fully rewritten for improved clarity and correctness.
Creature Unlocks Creatures now display their names when unlocked, making progression clearer.
Demo Messaging The demo time skip and demo win messages have been resized to be more readable and less intrusive.
Power Regeneration Mana crystals now regenerate during matches, allowing for more frequent ability usage and smoother pacing.
Fixes
In-Game Timer The match timer now consistently displays in [c]00:00[/c] format instead of adjusting automatically.
Tutorial Exploit Fixed an issue where the Chicken could be sold twice during the tutorial.
Hazards Fixed an issue where hazards could duplicate and display incorrect costs. This will continue to be monitored.
Level UI Accuracy
Loss and victory screens now correctly display the current level.
Level Select now accurately shows win times and stars earned for each level.
