Hi Wildmenders!
We’ve done a round of spring cleaning for you, sweeping out some annoying bugs. Build 210a has just been released on Steam, XBox, and PS5, with the following:
Changed
To aid finding your invisible friends, pinning a quest instance will now highlight the associated icon on the map if one exists.
A decaying Umbrella Mushroom now drops 2 Umbrella Fans on destruction instead of 1
The “Disable Cutscene Motion” setting now prevents the camera from moving when you rest in a Lean-To
Fixed
Fixed moving an item in storage sometimes swapping with a different item in your inventory instead.
Fixed starting a new game on a new install using an incorrect “Spoilage Speed” difficulty setting (and showing as Custom difficulty)
Fixed several edge cases where small plants could still lose health from water loss while being sustained by humidity.
Fixed leaf transparency rendering incorrectly on some dry plants (Ancestral Lilies)
Fixed a timing bug that could cause plants to generate incorrect geometry
Fixed a bug where you could become unable to pick up an Umbrella Mushroom because one was in your inventory (instead of your toolbar.) Frogs will also no longer collect Umbrella Mushrooms. If you load a game affected by this bug, the umbrella will be dropped in front of you.
Fixed plants testing for drowning at an incorrect height (could cause surprise drowning in planters)
Fixed a certain spring revival quest highlighting Mystical Springs outside the Dunes as if they were valid objectives
A certain crater will no longer be continuously corrupted when loading a save after game completion.
Performance Improvements
Made additional optimizations to cull various distant/hidden objects and VFX
