changedCode: This week, we started improving the story mode gameplay camera. The goal is for the camera to be smoother, and have better, context sensitive behaviour.
addedOn the audio side, we implemented a whole range of new music tracks for various areas in the game, as well as new main menu music. The combat has also received a bunch of new SFX.
fixedIn the sandbox, a long-standing bug where user textures could not be loaded in paths with special or non-latin characters has been resolved.
addedCharacter: This week, we have been working on a blacksmith apron type outfit for both male and female characters, as well as a new bikini for the ladies for the sandbox. We also finished a new set of weapon models that we will implement into the game and sandbox next.
changedDesign: We are conceptually working on an updated first-time (game-start) experience including a tutorial, so players have a smoother onboarding experience and better narrative contextualization before being thrown into the world. On the quest side, we finished up Zumon's dialogues and have started to implement his quest with Max.

Level: A big pack of Yterra ship interior meshes is complete and we are currently working on implementing those into the game. We are also working on detailing the caves of Kerpal with interesting locations and details.

We also noticed that our save system didn't properly support actors in data layers, which resulted in some of them disappearing (e.g. the fish supplies), and have spent some time to resolve that.

Animations: We have started working on animations for the VIP area of the Umbar party in the Mayor’s house. A few Max x Shey poses have also been blocked out.

Thank you for all your continued support,
