Repeated intro
Hey everyone!
I was doing some research today and went down a rabbit hole of real-life deep-sea and tropical ocean footage. One thing that really hit me was how different "real" water looks compared to the standard "crystal clear blue" we see in most video games.
In the real world, the water is often a rich, nutrient-filled greenish-teal - it feels "thick," organic, and alive (and maybe a little more mysterious/intimidating).
I’m currently leaning toward that"Tropical Green"look for the game because it feels more authentic to me, but I know some players prefer that classic, clean"Pool Blue"for visibility and "chill" vibes.
I’d love to hear your take:
Do you prefer the atmospheric, "organic" green look (even if it's a bit moodier)?
Or do you prefer the classic, high-visibility clean blue?
I’m not at my dev station right now, but once I’m back home, I’ll post a formal Announcement with some side-by-side screenshots so you can see exactly what I mean.
In the meantime, let me know what "vibe" usually draws you into an underwater world!
