addedAlongside these two areas, I also have the church environment prepared. This location should bring a different kind of atmosphere to the game and gradually expand the world beyond the forest itself. That’s why I’m also sharing a few new screenshots from the daytime forest, the night forest, and the upcoming church location.Steam post image
addedFor the final version of the game, I would like to have four main environments. Each of them should have its own mood, and outside of the daytime sections, each environment should also feature a different monster that hunts the player. The goal is for every part of the game to feel not only like a new place, but also like a slightly different experience.
changedI have also added the first basic teaser, which is mainly built from the first two environments of the game. Please take it more as an early glimpse of the atmosphere and direction of Whisper of Appalachia. The game is still in development, so the environments, visuals, and gameplay will continue to be adjusted and improved.Steam post image
addedIf the game catches your interest, I’d really appreciate you adding it to your wishlist and following the development here on Steam.

Development of Whisper of Appalachia is in full swing, and I wanted to share a first proper look at where the game is heading.Steam post image
Right now, I’m working on the first environments that will shape the core atmosphere of the game. One of them is the forest during the day, which feels calmer, more open, and more natural. The second one is the forest at night, where the atmosphere becomes much heavier, quieter, and more unsettling.
