Cowboys and cowgirls, saddle up and get ready to solve crimes in the West - Whispers in the West will soon be available on 25 July. Let’s take a sneak peek at what’s there in the initial release -

Six mystery cases to be solved

Whispers in the West is an episodic point-and-click murder mystery game - each episode is a mystery case waiting to be solved. Each story is unique and independent from each other (OK, they are loosely connected). The initial release will come with six cases:

The Break-in: The Break-in comes with the base game. Dawn breaks to find the Brimstone Bank broken open. What comes spilling out could bury this town. It's time to roll up your sleeves and get sleuthing, before everything unravels.

The Cult: A grizzly murder with an old-fashioned weapon! A town overrun with superstition and paranoia! An inventor and “saviour” who claims he can remake the world! Four investigators to make sense of it all before it's too late.

The Ghost: The Brimstone mine has swallowed a victim! Old resentments are rising from the dead. Only the truth can banish what is to come. Brimstone needs a team who aren't afraid of no ghost to bust this case.

The Giraffe: The circus is in town and passions are as high as a giraffe's head. Can the famously murder-happy residents of Brimstone enjoy the exotic delights of the circus without butchering one another in the dark?

The Cocktail: The who's who of Brimstone is throwing a party after an incredible windfall. The ice is cold, the drinks are exotic, and the odds of survival are... about the same.

The Curse: Something has been festering in the heart of Brimstone for years. Escalating events reveal a disturbing truth at the core of Brimstone. Will you be able to solve the mystery and bring the secrets to light?

Each case is designed to be solved in about 60 - 90 minutes - that’s 6 - 9 hours of gameplay guaranteed in the initial release. Although, if you are playing solo, it’s likely to take a little longer.

Friends play for free

As promised, Whispers in the West is a point-and-click adventure with a twist - as a player, you can either go solo or collaborate with family or friends.

Unlike many co-op games, Whispers in the West doesn’t require those who are invited to buy another copy of the game. Anyone can join a room using the Steam demo for free, as long as the host owns the game. Because we are a firm believer that games are better with friends, and friends should play for free.

Twitch Integration for Streamers

Whispers in the West could not have existed without our previous Twitch streamers and their community. To support streamers better engaging with their audience, we designed a Twitch integration that enables viewers to interact with the streamer in the game through chat - viewers can prompt the streamers to check on a suspect or vote on the final answers.

Multi-languages for the Base Game

For gamers from 🇲🇽 🇦🇷 🇪🇸 🇩🇪 🇨🇱 🇨🇴 🇯🇵 🇺🇾 🇻🇪 and beyond, we are glad to announce that the base game will be available in English, Spanish, German and Japanese. However, the DLCs are in English only at the moment.

Sorry, we’d really like to offer the full game to a global audience, but unfortunately, our budget doesn’t allow us to localise the full game or in more languages. That’s why, if you’d like to see more content in your language, please let the world know - that’s the only way we can do it.
