Whispers in the Forest changes
Voices
Protagonist command voices added.
Added voices for wall events.
New retreat and last-stand voice lines.
Grass
Improved texture.
When a wall is built, all grass in front of the wall will disappear, so it no longer slows movement in the base.
Ally
Improved texture and animation for all Ally characters.
Harvesters have been changed to Farmers; they now attack from range and no longer have headlights.
Technicians can now engage in melee combat behind the walls and have headlights now.
Without lights, you cannot command anymore!
Technicians hit three times while building and work faster.
Farmers hit trees two times while cutting and work faster.
Ally AI
Allies will fear when in the dark and will run to the nearest guard.
When the protagonist is positioned between an ally and an enemy or near the ally, the ally will not flee.
Soldiers will fire when following the protagonist, provided the protagonist is firing.
Steam Features
You can open the Steam overlay by pressing Shift + Tab or the System Button on each controller.
Pause the game when it is out of focus, minimized, or when the Steam overlay is opened.
Graphic Improvements
Added beautiful soil below the ground.
Introduced advanced shadows for people, objects, and buildings.
Shadows of clouds during the day create a more realistic environment.
Protagonist
Improved textures and animations.
Advanced shadows for all animations.
Added call animation.
Bullets are now four times more powerful.
Healer Enemy
New character for the healer enemy.
Fixes
Fixed the wall problem where an unfinished wall would allow the creation of another wall. You can now only build a new wall after the previous one is complete.
