The map is still a work in progress, but we’ve been focusing on making each run feel more atmospheric and filled out without losing the randomness. Procedural layouts and shifting monuments mean no two outings are ever quite the same.
To add more tension, we’re introducing Boon map modifiers — events that change how the game plays once the days start stacking up. "Boon of Silence"spawns more monsters that are highly sensitive to sound, forcing players to move and communicate more carefully. "Boon of the Blood Moon"cloaks the world in heavy fog, be careful where you step as it may be your last. Lastly, Boon of Death brings the risk of sudden loss of your team mates unless you work together.
On top of that, we’ve been building a public lobby browser, making it easier to find other players and drop into games without relying only on invites. This should help more people experience the game the way it’s meant to be played — together.
These systems are still being refined, but they’re already adding more variety, unpredictability, and challenge to each run. Step by step, the world is becoming harsher — and scarier.
