The release is drawing closer - Steam Log #1

The first post on Steam for WiAB.

I guess it's good if we start with a little bit of info and transparency.

Where it All Began (WiAB) plays in the same universe as Summer's Gone... There is a gap of about twenty years in between.

If you like SG and its world, you should check out WiAB, and you might meet a few familiar faces.

Just like SG, WiAB is a character-driven story, however, unlike SG's first season, WiAB already features sexual content.

It wasn't planned to release WiAB this early on Steam, especially not as an Early Access title, but exactly one year ago, WiAB lost its supporter page for reasons I still don't fully understand.

It's now funding itself through SubscribeStar and some really awesome supporters, however, it hasn't recovered.

But before I put the game on ice indefinitely, I thought it would be a good way to have a shot at further developing it.

WiAB - Season 1 will feature 8 chapters.

I will soon finish Chapter 4, which is double the size of a normal update ~4000 images and then release it here on Steam.

If you decide to get the game, the rest of the Season 1 chapters will be free of charge.

I post development logs for both games every two weeks. However, I will try to make it a habit to post here on Steam every month or two.

It's just that if I work all day, I have no social energy left to write big posts. I keep postponing it and I'm sorry for this but, it's just how it is right now.

But I'll give it a try. I will post summaries and a few of the previews. (I'm still not sure if I can post NSFW previews here, but I'll be playing it safe for now and keep it SFW.)

Besides postwork, I still need to finish the rest of the animations including a cinematic.

I will make another post when I send the game to the Steam-tester boys, and afterwards, I'll announce a release date.
