addedA new free expansion is now under development for WESTSLINGERS! The aim of the update is provide a separate Free Roam experience from the original Linear Campaign that provides less structured but with more depth and longer open-ended playtime. By starting a gang in the Free Roam playstyle, your gang leader will move to a permanent encampment after the first mission. It will act as a central hub that allows to travel to different towns. You will also be able to improve the camp with buildings.

changedMeta GameplayPersistent gang member states like wounds and bounty

changedMeta GameplayThese are some of the more concrete ideas in progress. As the development continues and the design experiments become fun, I will update the official thread with a lot more detail on what will definitely make it into the expansion. Development will likely take many months, but I would be more than happy to provide early access once stable enough to play. Thanks for tuning in. Happy Wednesday!
